Steele Pediatric Dentistry

Katie Steele, DDS grew up in St. Clairsville, Ohio.  She knew from a young age that she wanted to be a pediatric dentist.  After high school, she attended the University of Dayton where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor of science degree in Biology.  She went on to Dental School at The Ohio State University and she graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in May 2006. Dr. Steele then worked as a general dentist for three years when she realized her passion was treating children and patients with special needs.  She attended the University of Maryland in Baltimore for her pediatric dental residency and served as co-chief resident in her final year.  Dr. Steele is Board Certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.  She is a member of the American Dental Association as well as the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists.

 Dr. Steele and her husband Brian (a St. Clairsville native) are thrilled to be back in the Ohio Valley.  Together they have two children, Teddy and Helen. As a parent to two youngsters, she knows the challenges that raising a child can bring and wants parents to feel comfortable asking her and staff important questions about their children’s mouths. When she is not treating patients in the office, Dr. Steele enjoys spending time with her family and cheering on her alma maters’ sports teams.
